Default Day at the Nissan dealership

My friend is in the market for a 370z so we went out this morning to go for a test drive. We first went to the Moreno Valley dealership that only had an automatic convertible so we left to the Riverside one. Too bad that one only had 2 Z's that were both automatic too. We finally went to Fontana Nissan, and this place was nice to say the least. They had over 10 in stock. They also had this in the showroom:

Well we test drove the 370z and it really made me want one. I was very impressed by the power and features of the 370, although after driving the CR-Z for a while, I'd probably be impressed by the power of anything . But I love my CR-Z and need the MPG's as I commute 60 miles one way to work. On to the good stuff...

After walking around and talking to all the friendly staff, they offered to show us some of the customers GT-R's:

Yeah they were dirty but man were they nice. After we were done I remembered going to the Honda dealer next door when I was looking for a CR-Z to buy. I also remembered they had one that was outfitted with a some password JDM stuff. I drove by to see if it was still there, and it was:

It's a 6 speed EX without Nav. Anyways just thought I'd share since I don't have anything else to do right now lol.

Fun visit. I used to live out in that area and did some CR-Z shopping back in the day there. The Rock Honda guys lowballed the hell out of my trade in offer and treated my dad and I like dirt so i'm not a fan of those guys.

I'd think they'd keep the GT-R's in the showroom like they do over here.

They were customer cars in for service. Why there were three of them all in for service, I have no idea.

I am guessing it has to do with the fact that you have to bring your GTR in at least 1 time a month for service otherwise you void your warranty.

Only In Cali would such cool cars be in showrooms! East Coast, we barely get to see the OEM upgrades... We suck

That dealership is super race oriented. I guess they have GT-R meets there. We talked to the owner of the whole delearship who is on their race team too and he said you can do whatever mod you want to the car and they won't hassle you for warranty. They even have an after market shop on the dealership and said they would fix up my CR-Z if I wanted lol.

Those nissan Z's are overly heavy! Everything about it is tough.. steering hard to turn, pedals are stiff, doors are heavy.. The car is a beast! HEAVY!!! Actually, kind of like an old 60's or 70's sports car.. But modern cars shouldn't be so difficult to drive. Even extreme supercars feel easier.
Plus, I honestly have more fun driving my cr-z than my dads 350z! Of course, I have to admit, other than on a straight line on the highway I haven't been anywhere I can actually drive faster in the 350z than in the crz.. (for legal/pedestrian reasons).
Now obviously on the right roads w/ no one around the rear wheel drive, 3xHP of the nissan would be tons of fun. Personally, I can't find those roads though, and have been looking for years!
