not sure if theres something similar to this thread, didnt really look for one, but wanted to see if there was any soccer fans on the forum. thinking the euro guys mite be on the list, but how bout the the north american lads ?? if there is, plenty to talk about. so ....... ?

yes there are some of us. I even referee soccer at amateur and collage level. Watched all 64 last time and the one before andy most of the games I can get on weekends when not refereeing. But the lat weeks (sunday 8/28) ManU game was one which is hard to forget....

im a united fan with a soft spot for the gunners. that was just emberassing. i had enough at 5-1. hope wenger squeezes at least 2 signing (mid, def) before tomorrow nite.

I hear you... I watch most games for the beauty and to see the play / officiating level , study and such but the second goal was jut one of those that when he took the shot you knew it will go in .... just a beautiful shot

I tried to get into soccer, but just couldn't stay interested for some reason. They only score like once or twice a game and then the rest is just running around.

Spurs have a nice squad. But to much attack build up. Redknapp is to worry of goals. Thats why they are where they are. As far as london goes. The Boas revolution at chelsea is just scary. Unlike city. They spend smart. I see another neck to neck run fr the title and maybe even an apperance in the CL final. Theyre back on track to be 'the team to beat'.

Please dont shun me on this. But anyone watch the MLS ?? Im a season ticket holder with the Galaxy and just want some mLS chat too. This has been a huge year. Wish we had the 2022 WC under our belt too. But i think the bid to host made this the biggest year yet.

yes I folio MLS as a referee I need to do that. MLS is till young and I do believe that sooner or later we will need to split the league in to a First and Second division or whatever you may call it so there is fight to get to the higher division and fight to not get dropped to the lower division.
