Default Using the TX drought as a sales "plus"?

So did anyone else see the ebay listing for the Fort Worth, TX CR-Z for sale that included the information -

Hate to sell but I need a 4 door car. Car is in excellent shape.Looks as if it came off the showroom floor.Has many extra options. XM Radio,Splash Guards,Cargo Mats,Matching Body Side Molding,Pin Stripping, and Tinted Windows.Never has seen any rain and has been garaged since new.You still can get the extended warrantee. I will post pictures on 8/23.

Honda : CR-Z | eBay

Mine has yet to see rain either and I bought it in March. Never thought of it as an attribute to the car tho . . .

Bet Texas dealers aren't selling many aftermarket splash guards.

Maybe I can use "has rarely seen the sun" as a pitch as the paint won't be faded. Yes, it rains a lot here, we actually have tourists from dryer parts of the world come here to see the rain...

Still, it's fun to find little details like that in ads

Sounds like Norway ought to be promoting vacations to Texans this year

Well it doesn't go for all of Norway, just the city I live in, as it is surrounded by mountains. Most of Norway has a similar climate to the north west cost of the US and Canada. For some reason Norwegians prefer to vacation to Spain and Greece though. I guess Texas doesn't seem that exciting As for myself I just spend my summers going to track days and street meets

I lived in the UK for a decade - the vacation spot of choice was anywhere people could get lots of sun and so Spain and Greece were top choices there too.

Never been to Bergen myself, but it looks like it's a beautiful area and well worth a visit.

We do get quite a few cruise ships stopping by during summer. It's a nice city and since it has mountains all around it there are loads of places to go hiking and even some places for rock climbing If you want sun and umbrella drinks at the beach, you are better off going to Spain Why anyone would want to go somewhere with those kinds of temperatures is beyond me though. I prefer temperatures to stay within +20 to -20 deg Celsius. Though I have been known to go boarding even at -30

agreed, but that's not happening in Texas this year. It's 39C/102F outside now and this weekend will be hotter. However can't imagine boarding at -30
