Default HP Touchpad

Does anyone have the HP Touchpad available in their area for the $99/149 price? I'm looking for one but they are all sold out in my area.

Good looking out Roddy! I just bought one on barnes & noble dot com, too. However, I was only able to purchase the 16GB for $101.50 + 6.49 for 1-3 day shipping (expedited) The 32GB was still listed at $599, even after I had it in the shopping cart.... Oh well, still a great deal!
I checked the local Staples 2 days ago and was told that all of them were sold out- like 6 stores in a 50 mi radius. They said that each store only had 4 or 5 anyway. CompUsa online showed only about 20 stores on the entire east coast with "limited supplies", the closest being Delaware ( I'm in Virginia).
B&N won't charge until it's shipped, so I'm waiting & hoping it goes through. Good luck!

I also ordered one. Already have an iPad, but it's such a great deal to pass up.

Lol.. I just impulsed bought two of them from B&N myself. I'm sorta of an Apple goon myself, but if I don't like them I'm sure I can flip them. But yep the deal was too good to pass up. Then I impulsively bought some ijdmtoy h11 hid kits for my fogs and some carbon fiber wrap before I paid my carnote.

You do all realize that the reason these are selling so cheap is because HP announced they were killing WebOS right?

For $100 it still might be worth having a device that will go nowhere of course.

Nobody's found a way to hack it and put on some form of Linux yet? haha

Edit:

And someone has this offer going on XDADevelopers of $500 for the first person who gets Android running on it.

I'm buying it to watch videos on the go. I dl a ass load of anime and there's already an app that allows mkv play. supposedly hp is dropping the hardware but will continue software support.

either way it's 100$. I've spent more money on other useless carparts

Lol! I know the feeling- anyone want to trade a set of $99 reflectors that won't fit the Mugen rear for the Touchpad?!
Also, CDW.com has both of them available. You might have to try a few times to add it in the shopping cart
