Default Mr. Bean Totals McLaren F1

I've heard reviews that it's a bit of a twitchy car at the best of times, capable of doing something like 300mph. I'm not sure that the McLaren F1 is just the best thing for Mr. Bean to be driving, actually!

BBC News - Rowan Atkinson crashes McLaren F1 supercar into tree

Thankfully, he's OK, but his insurance won't be best pleased with him!

Since he's ok, and likely has the money for it.....

That's hilarious! I can totally picture Blackadder driving that, and Bean crashing it.

Don't know about the f1 being capable of 300mph.

Not quite 300mph, but at 240mph it was the fastest production car for several years until the Bugatti Veyron hit 252mph.

Yeah, it's not the first time he's crashed that car. He supposedly 'wrote it off' in 1999 when he drove into the back of an Austin Metro. Pictures of the damage here.

He also stacked an Aston Martin at Croft a couple of years later, story here.

I guess he's rich enough not to worry about driving on the limit!
