some of us went to LA Rising to see Rage Against The Machine, what in my opinion is one of the best bands ever. well we all loved the set list but maybe you wanted to add a couple songs on there or maybe you liked it the way it was. well this is your chance guys. read the petition and sign (if you'd like ). after that share with your friends

lets vote for a set list and have our voices be heard!

RATM just killed it that nite. As did Gran Silencio. I can care less of the rest. I wouldve paid double to have the rest off the line up.

love their music, but im not all about petitioning and picketing and protesting.

Back in the day our high school would promote protesting against abortion and stuff like that. They would take bus loads of kids 7 hours out of town to protest, get a hotel etc etc all on the schools dime.

also 90% of those people who protest that i went to school with have no job or a dead end job working 15 hours a week and spend the rest of their time loitering around town smoking pot and playing licks on the community guitar. That is if they didnt jump on a train and somehow get to another city to do the exact same thing.

i might be a little biased.

Rage Against the Machine's music preaches against Capitalism and Corporations, yet they're a bunch of millionaires working for Sony. I've enjoyed a few of their songs, but I can't help but feel that they're a bunch of hypocrites considering the political nature of their group.

And yet you have gotten their message.

Don't be jealous that they are successful. Be mad at something more legitimate. At least RATM worked for their money. More than a few of our elected officials can't make the same claim. Food for thought.

Anyways, LA rising sounded like a good time. I want to see Muse, but their new stuff isn't as intense as it was 5 years ago.

I remember 6 years ago I won tickets off KROQ 106.7 (Radio Station in So Cal) to their Inland Invasion Concert...First time hearing Muse, and I just fell in love with them instantly...since than seen em maybe 2-3 times since.

I'm not mad at them or jealous of their money, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. You don't see the irony in being a politically driven group that is very anti-corporation and anti-capitalist, yet their label is one of the largest corporations in the world and capitalism has what has lead to their success?

It'd be like if the Director of Greenpeace owned an oil refinery.
