ugly, yet beautiful.... lol

I haven't played around with my camera enough but most of the nice pics i have are from a trip to L.A. or of my Car.

And a picture from being in the Right Place at the Right Time.

I haven't done anything fancy, just playing around with a Canon or a Nikon.

Rare close up

Backyard snow

Sweet! Nice exposures on the landscapes! Do you know what the settings were on that wheel shot, out of curiousity? Heck.. a large part of getting certain types of photos is being at the right spot at the right time... that is a cute shot! What body and lenses do you shoot?

Nice shots, Chaos! What are you shooting? The snow pictures are a little underexposed (pretty common in that type of high highlight scene... easy to correct for if you want to learn how). I used to shoot professionally back in the mid-80s (Film cameras, and before Auto-focus became popular).. and used to teach classes also, if you have any questions.

Cannon Rebel XSi, with stock lense. I don't remember any of the settings, i played around with a few, I was taking multiple shots until i liked the result. by the way it doesn't show in that Picture from my Hotel room but it was the end of the sun setting and almost pitch black yet it came out like it was earlier in the evening lol.

thanks crazee. story behind the second photo is that i saw that little shape at a local art showing. a japanese lady sculpts these out of glass. it was pretty small too, that piece is about 3 inches in length.
