My mother bought a new car today and is waiting for it to come from another dealer. I went through the same thing, having to wait, but I took my car (trade) home until the Honda was delivered.

Not this dealer. They already have her trade, gave her a loaner, then she turns the loaner in when her new car arrives.

I've never heard of such a thing. I told her they did it so she couldn't back out of it.

Same thing happened when I bought my crz. Except my trade was an 03 crv that was falling apart, and ny loaner was a brand new '11 civic thay I got to keep for over a week

Needless to say I didnt complain.
