If you mean as far as house/electronic music, I'm a big fan of Daft Punk.

I haven't seen the new Tron yet, but I'll be sure to check out the soundtrack.

If you haven't seen it, you should check out Interstella 5555. It's an animated film set to their album 'Discovery'. There's no dialog - it's basically a series of music videos strung together that form a plot. I think you can find it cut up into parts on youtube if they haven't taken it down.

Here's some old school synthesizer featuring Edgar Winter and the ARP 2600, playing live for a BBC broadcast. It's a long vid, but well worth the 9 minutes of your life. Many people have heard the tune, but few actually can appreciate the musicianship of how it was performed.

The host's commentary at the end is priceless.

Unfortunately, this was also at a time when pants had not been quite perfected, as evidenced by the guitarist's outfit.

And since this is a car forum, a touch of old and new:

Ratatat is awesome... I have a Pandora station basically dedicated to them.

I also like Moby's debut album... really cool
