How did I miss this one?
![]() Absolutely... Anyone who has and is currently serving; They have and are performing a service which has no comparison. No matter what the reasons, you who have served and those who continue to serve have the utmost respect and gratitude of those of us who get to realize what your sacrifices allow us to have and enjoy.. Thank you http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ |

Yeah it seams this post is either late or early depending on how you look at it.
I served from '91 to '96 in the U.S. Navy as an F-14A and B structural mechanic or AMS for short. I was over at Bosnia when where dropping bombs on a flight deck at -40F. You want to talk about cold! I just want to take a time out to say thank you to all those who have had served and are serving and especially those who have died in the line of duty not only protecting our country but protecting those around the world- even when those who they are protecting don't appreciate it and still spit venom at them. To me there is no greater honor- bar none. Not even the office of The President Of The United States is more honorable or admirable than that of a 18 year old E-1 heading out to serve his/ her country and willing to put themselves in harms way and give there life for there country and the world. God Bless you all!
