Default Dedicated Sci-fi/Fantasy Novel Thread!!

It was discussed, and now it has been started.

Use this thread to list the books you love, to give others ideas on what to read next.

Also feel free to discuss the different novels/series at length, as book discussions can be fun.

Personally here is my read over and over again list.

Wheel of Time series - Robert Jordan

Sword of Truth series - Terry Goodkind

Every Star Wars novel written

Every Forgotten Realms novel written

All of Dragonlance

Everything else Weis and Hickman have written

I'm currently working through a series I'm ashamed to say I hadn't read through previously, Stephen King's Dark Tower series.

hahaha... beat me to it! Way to go, Zodiac! I will have to think about this one! Too many to list!

anyone ever read "The Man Who Folded Himself" ? by David Gerrold
http://http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_Who_Folded_Himself

or how about "The Forever War" by Joe Haldeman
The Forever War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

or Ursula Le Guins EarthSea Trilogy?
A Wizard of Earthsea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

or Madeliene DeEngle's Wrinkle in Time?
A Wrinkle in Time - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

hahaha... I just notice that 3 of the 4 I listed have to do with Time travel / dimensional travel... interesting...

Great series! All of King's stuff is good, and some of it (like these) are great!

Amazing series. I put it down when I was about half way through Song of Sussanah, and have never picked it back up and finished it.

I have read a few of the Doc Savage paperbacks. I read a few of the new Conan novels (because Robert Jordan wrote them), but never any of the originals.

Howard's writing is something else! It could almost be said that he created the swords and sorcery genre.. his writing was so good! You should check out the originals....

here is a FREE public domain edition for Kindle, if you have one. Or you can download the Kindle app on your computer, or phone, and read it there!

Red Nails... it rocks! I remember reading it for the first time in Wierd Tales magazine, back in the late 60's.... I was like 9 years old.. WOW!

Amazon.com: Red Nails eBook: Robert E. Howard: Kindle Store
