How does it work?
When you rent a movie on Zediva, you are renting both a DVD and DVD Player in our data center. During the period of the rental, the DVD and the DVD Player can only be used by you.

What devices are supported by the service?
We currently support PC, MAC, Google TV and Android devices with Android 2.1 or later. We are working hard to add support for iPhone/iPad and game consoles like Xbox, PS3. Watch for announcements future updates on Facebook and Twitter

So this means they play the actual DVD disk for you with a DVD player stored at their location and send the video feed to you via internet .

Thoughts? I don't know what to think!
