Pretty cool how they took many concepts that we have seen before and put them all together.

Well asumingly just like every new technology not everyone will het there hands on it bc of cost, bur eventually give it time and it'll become more and more affordable. 10years from now most ppls home will come equipped with stuff like this.

can't imagine this happening until 20-30 years... but to make that in the streets, it's a big risk because hooligans may just destroy it - and that'll be a waste of tax payers money.

that'll be so cool to have in our CR-Z though! Touch screen windscreen haha

I think this stuff can happen very soon. Shoot, look at your IPod Touch and IPhones do most of this stuff now. Also there is is Transition eye glasses why not for full scale windows? Anybody remember Back To The Future II ? They had flat screen 3D TV's with movies on demand in that movie and home fax machines- now there here.

i think it's sooner than most ppl think for some of that stuff... the new SLK Mercedes has that tinted moonroof integrated into their convertible top... and samsung has transparent screens and flexible AMOLED screens...

Most of this stuff has already been developed and actually exists. Most issues deal with manufacturing, costs and questions such does it currently have a market. Other issues such as adaptation of IP Version 6. Fridge and mirror needs an IP address to communicate (in some cases). Etc etc... Bringing something to market is sometimes more difficult than it seems.

Slightly off topic but I am amazed how well the iPhone4 and the AppleTV work together. From playing tunes on my stereo to pulling pics off my "shared library" computers it's been easy to install and bullet proof.
