Default Turbostorm Installed

Turbostorm was his racing name. We just call him Stormy.

This is the third greyhound we've adopted off the track. The other two made it to 13 and 14 years old before old age got 'em. We've been missing a hound in our lives for the past two years, so it's good to have something fuzzy wandering about.

We picked up Stormy yesterday. He's still adjusting to his new surroundings. He'd been adopted before, but returned for biting. We've found that he's a "mouther" and he snaps if he feels threatened, but we'll stick with him until he gets past that point. He already knows how to do stairs and understands he can't run through a glass door no matter how obnoxious that squirrel is being.

Sadly, he makes my CR-Z seem even slower.

Needs moar low!

Beautiful boy, and great of you to rescue him.
I'm sure he will repay your kindness ten-fold.

I just have to say that the second pic is absolutely adorable!!! Hopefully he doesn't have that biting problem, and y'all keep him for a long, long time.

Thanks everyone.

I'd like to say it's complete altruism, but the truth is most racing greyhounds make for easy pets. He's affectionate and frisky. But he's accustomed to being crated for 20 hours a day. So leaving him home while my wife and I work is no big deal.

His record on the track was okay. Evidently, he got a minor injury. After taking a break to recuperate and having some R&R, he wanted nothing to do with racing.
