[IMG] ![]() I was going to buy a new Fit for daily commuting, but tested the CR-Z just to see if it was any good. I couldn't believe how good the shifter and clutch are. It's great in the curves, and has enough power to keep from being boring. I'm coming from a 2006 GTI with power adders, so the torque difference is pretty shocking. It's definitely no GTI as far as power, but it handles just as well as the GTI did. Thanks. |

Hello and welcome!
That's a pretty fair assessment of the car - what it lacks in power it more than makes up for in terms of fun and frugality. It's simply sex without guilt!

Hello and welcome. If you think it is good now put some springs, wheels and better tires and your jaw will drop. I tested a Gti and it was hella nice but the CRZ won out on looks. and dash design

The dash/interior is actually what sold me on the CRZ. I didn't expect to like the car (I was going to buy a new Fit), but I sat in one and was blown away by the stereo in the EX. The gauge cluster is crazy, but I like it. And the interior quality shocked me, I've always been disappointed in Honda interior quality. The salesman told me the CRZ is the only Honda in NA made in Japan? |
