New Owner - Miami Florida - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

Hello!

I am a proud owner of a brand spankin' new 2012 Honda Cr-Z. I had been lurking here a while once I found out the car exists and had been doing my homework before making the purchase.

I bought a Black with Grey interior 6mt base model. I figured I'd prefer to add all the upgrades and more myself and to my taste. I was very happy with the negotiated price after all the fee's. I also got the wheel locks / mud guards / trunk tray. After all was said and done the price was $19,458. (sales tax here is 6% so total loan was $21,000 - to cover).

So funny enough, I didn't even test drive the car before buying. They had to ship the car from another dealer 4 hours away (I was at the dealership till midnight waiting for it). It arrived I was super happy. It looked fantastic, had it in econ mode. During the drive home watching the MPG above 40 sometimes at 50 on the highway. I wasn't too impressed with it on the streets heading to the freeway, and figured people had overstated the sportyness of the car. But still enjoyed it. After I pulled off the freeway, I decided to put it into sport mode - OMFG!!!! I went from smiling my ass off the whole way on the freeway to an uncontrolled boy like laughing and realized I had made the best purchase of my life.

This is AN AMAZING car! Why Honda has not been pushing this car harder is insanity.

Hopefully posting pictures this week... but it's just base so far... nothing new to see for a Cr-Z forum.
