Welcome!

So where in Maryland (generally). I'm in the Frederick area and there is another Milano Red CR-Z around (we were both at the Frederick Keys Stadium doing AutoX with Capital Driving Club this weekend).

So mods. You can see from my signature what I've got. I can't leave anything alone! My objectives were to preserve the milage and driveability of the car (it's a daily driver and I drive about 25K a year) but increase the fun (handling and power).

I like everything I have done but would comment:
  • The HKS springs are a bit tight. I like them an their adjustability and they are great for AutoX but they may be a bit harsh for some people. I wouldn't got with any higher spring rates.
  • CAIs are a bit of a maintenance issue. The filter is buried in the fender, providing lots of cold air but requiring removal of tires and splash shields to clean the filter (which needs to be done at least once a year). A "sealed" SRI (I'd go with K&N) it much more practical but might not be as good. However, the Black Label Fab unit is nice and can do both.
