It happened to my previous car a Honda Civic which I blamed it on being Nighthawk black with a light grey undercoat but now this metallic storm silver is starting to show the same symptoms, but being silver it is not so noticeable, but it is there. I am a disappointed owner because all my previous cars the paintwork were great and that included a Civic Coupe, and if you did get a chip you heard the crack as you were driving and knew that either your windscreen or bodywork had been hit but now they just appear virtually daily. ^ Welcome to the Forum..
I have the SSM and have not really had any issues with the paint. There have been a few others here that have.. A solution that some have invested in is the Clear Bra.. Clear Bra Not sure if it is an option in the UK. |

Welcome!
The paint is not the most impressive of any car i've ever owned, but it is not a flaw, either. Yes, search "paint", or "clear bra" (and no, this is not THAT kind of forum )' for ideas.Hope you enjoy the car. It's way to nice to lock away!

Welcome! I got the clear bra for my storm silver CR-Z and have not regretted it. Car managed to get one large chip before I could get the install. Nothing since, and car looks great. It's pricey if done right tho.
edited to add - had bonnet, mirrors, bumper and lights done as well as front of wings |
