Got a white GT with the Glow Pack installed but the pack is illuminated all the time despite being advertised on all Euro (including UK) websites as being controlled by the lights and dim-able. Mine are not and now Honda are saying they are falsely advertising it (their words). Love the car tho so it's a shame this is souring the ointment. I noticed in another thread that there are two wiring instructions for the glow pack so I wonder if Honda are looking at the wrong ones..... |

Welcome, and hope the lighting issue doesn't spoil your enjoyment of your new CR-Z!
Canada gets US model, so we cannot help you either. I'm sure some of our European members will be in a position to assist.

Welcome on board Sproget. I didnt get the glow pack on mine as the idea of more lights on at night sounded distracting. I was worried enough that i could dim speedo enough. Very surprised the glow pack wont dim with the rest of the dashlights not that it much concilation to you.

Congrats on the car.
About 4 years ago I toured northern Scotland. What a cool place. Gotta watch for those free roaming sheep. I was there for 11 days. Flew into Glasgow and then traveled to Strerling. We stayed at bed and breakfast inns. There was a lot to see.We drove 1100 miles in a rental Ford Mondeo. I am in American law enforcement and was able to hook up with a constable in the town of Inverness and did a ride a long for several hours. The officers name was Norman and he was like 6 ft 7" tall and drove a small fast Peugeot. He could barley fit in that thing. I hope one day he looks me up over here so I can return the favor. I also hung out with some Scottish Marines at a Fort George on the northern tip. They had just came back from Iraq and served with the USMC of which I am a former member. |
