I did a quick search on this forum and couldn't find any threads concerning this. Any insight into this issue(?) would be greatly appreciated because I am otherwise really digging my CR-Z!

Hey, Welcome!
Congratulations on the new CR-Z, too. I don't know if we ever solved the noise you are referring to, but you may want to investigate these threads on noise: squeal at higher speeds Vibration noise Funny Noise... Any suggestions? alarmed at 100 mph? Good luck!

Hi guys, thank you for the warm welcome and for the informative links. I'm actually extremely relieved because I have been worried that my vehicle might have a serious mechanical defect since the day I purchased it (on 10/15).
I'm also stoked that I can now drive my cr-z more "enthusiastically" as the odomotor now reads 622 I figure the noise is a great way to reduce my likelihood of getting speeding tickets anyhow! Brian |

Welcome and congrats on your CRZ.
Sounds like others have pointed you in the right direction on some of the noises CRZ owners have been experiencing - I've been lucky so far and haven't had any strange vibrations or noises although I do have a loose rubber door seal on the driver's door I plan to get looked at when I take mine for its first service. I'm surprised I don't hear wind noise from that but mine is a daily driver so maybe it never gets a chance to go fast enough to make noise.
