My biggest decision was whether to buy a manual or a CVT ... in the end I decided that I've shifted enough gears in my lifetime and went for the better mileage of the CVT. After a week of driving, I'm convinced that this was the right choice for me. I have a 17 mile commute to work on back roads, and I'm seeing trip mileages of around 40 mpg. After a week I still have half a tank of gas! I plan to top off the tank today and see if the actual numbers match the readouts. The size and handling reminds me a lot of my first car ... a 1974 Honda Civic. (Yes, I am THAT old!) I have a vanity license plate ordered that will read "2011CR-Z" so I guess I am vain as well as old. This is a great forum.... I read a lot of negative reviews on other sites, but reading the posts here from actual owners convinced me that purchasing a CR-Z was not going to be a huge mistake. |
