Welcome, Zof9i6! congrats!

CR-Z is a great car but I've got a 370Z in the garage right now too. Belongs to my son (career military) so it's spent about half its life with me so far

Lots of great info here and several other members either own both cars or have made the transition from 370Z's.

Welcome, I came from a 370z Nismo myself. Honestly I do not mind the tradeoff. The CRZ still has sex appeal in its sportiness. Have gotten more "heys" from chicks, then dudes it seems in the CRZ. I think it appeals to women in its styling more so then the 370z. However the lack of power is made up for by cheaper fill ups and insurance rates. Not to mention overall monthy payments. at the end of the day as car is still a car, that being a means of transportation. I hated driving the manual in stop and go traffic daily, and felt like I was doing wrong to the nismo, by driving it in traffic lol.

Overall I think you will come to love the CRZ, I sure have. If I could do it over I would choose the CRZ over the 370z any day

yes i do think crz is sex appeal atleast to me, thats y the trade off. also i got what i wanted from dealer too, good price and a red ex navi with spoiler and splash gard.

i do miss the power but not every cheaper car i get should be compared to 370z unless its same price range. but the sports mode do make it feel like im fast.

so far loving it. more gadgets to play with in cabin than the base 370z i use to have.

you felt you did wrong by driving ur nismo in traffic, haha. i did too by makin it a dd. but no regret on tradin the z cuz i know i wont keep that car forever cuz im ruining it by makin it a dd. and long drive to work everyday. i do think it aint meant to be a dd.

i know many many ppl dont like stop n go traffic in a manual but i actually do. i live in east bay n work by sf so i got that everyday to work.

yes you are right, im loving crz more n more as im getting more use to it now.
