Default Hi everybody!!

As I'm getting my car this morning I thought I would officially post a hello.. I've dibbed and dabbed with the forum but now unfortunately your stuck with me

Little bit about me... I live in the UK so if I talk about my pants it's my boxers guys this is my second Honda, the first being a civic type S... I'm relatively young (21) hence the not too sporty cars as it would kill me on insurance! Just graduating (hopefully) from uni with a degree in Sports Coaching and I kickbox internationally.

That's it about me really, looking forward to my car and also to be in some of the banter that goes about here!

PP (aka Murray)

Hey guys and ladies

Picked up my car and love it to bits! I have a few questions though (uk model)

How quickly does people's battery deplete, yes I know it depends on how you drive it but is it normal for a bar or two to go out on a motorway/highway? (hope my American is correct)

Also for anyone that has the ambient lighting in the foot weld... When do you actually see it?! Lol

Cheers guys

PP

depends on the mode, speed, incline . . . just experiment with it and see how yours reacts to your circumstances. Where I live, there are some hills when I first pull out of my drive and so I use a couple of bars right away. Then I get to some small towns where the braking brings those bars back quickly (police speed traps are great for that . . . ) On the motorway, which is completely flat, the reading stays pretty stable on my CR-Z.

Hi, Gordon in Toronto, Canada here; ex from North Cheam, Surrey.
Storm Grey 6MT. Canadian equiv. to the U.S. "EX' version.

Re the battery bar. Mine NEVER goes all the way to the right. I stops 1 bar to the left of 'full' Weird.
Question. Does the fuel door lock on the U.K. / JDM models?
Someone on line over here says it locks when you lock the car. (doors and hatch).
The Canadian model does NOT lock at all, therefore we have to go out and buy a locking fuel cap (the one for the 2007 / 08 Honda 'Fit' works Cost $16
Bye for now
