Default Hi-de-ho, neighbor

Ok....this is my second intro and only, like, my third post here, so I'm still a n00b, and qualify for an "introduction", right? (Besides, on one of my first posts, my sense of humor went over like a fart in church and someone got their thong all knotted up, so maybe I'd better back up and start over)

Just picked up my "cheap, base model" CR-Z last week. (See, when I say "cheap" I'm making fun of myself for being too cheap to move up the food chain). I refer to it as my "midlife crisis-mobile".

My sense of humor also extends to my screenname. . I'm 51 going on 14 and I still think fart jokes are funny. (I've also used "Hugh Jass", "Drew P Weener" etc.)

Previously, I was (and still am) driving an Element, lovingly referred to as "The Dumpster". (It's a big metal box - like driving a dumpster). I use that to haul stuff - the cargo frequently including my two SpoiledRottenWeilers who hate my Z because they don't get to go in "that" vehicle.

When not driving either the Z or the E (my other half has a "C" - a Civic) I'm either cooking, drinking beer, brewing beer, thinking about beer or cooking and homebrewing while drinking beer and thinking about beer.

I also do the photography thing (poorly) am an avid (but pathetic) cyclist and a "lapsed" motorcyclist. (In fact, the decision to buy the Z was between the Z and a Honda VFR1200).

Been a toolmaker for 30 years, and am also currently attending school for my Physical Therapy AAS.

In whatever OTHER free time I have, I hang out on the Bicycling Magazine "Love" forum. (Their "catch-all" forum). My post count is around 40,000 and I've only managed to piss off a couple of people over there. My ratio is WAY better here...

I have a base model as well. I am not ashamed, and I don't consider myself "cheaping out" as I didn't want anything that the EX or Navi had to offer.

I love fart jokes. Pull my finger!

I'm a woman, and your name didn't as much offend me as it made me roll my eyes. But since I typically have the sense of humor of a 12 year old boy myself, who am I to judge?

Welcome!

^ haha, Wait - you didn't want that latest and greatest state of the art NAVI system with the outstanding graphics and real time updates - of course I am teasing - the NAVI is not exactly state of the art - (oh wait, never mind on the updates)..

Good stuff. But don't pull my - eh - finger = bad stuff..

Huge, see what you started??

Welcome. Geriatric bicyclist here too I'm a regular bicycling magazine reader but never found the time to check out their web presence.

And I've got a silver 6mt base model which I'm definitely not ashamed of. It's a great car in all models/colors/accessory choices! Enjoy the car and the forum.

Hello.

Another aging cyclist here, just bought a mountain bike and started riding. If I had a choice, I would prefer being on the VFR (or a GSX-R) instead of the peddles.
