Been lurking for awhile, wanna get more involved - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

Even though I've been here for around a year, i wanna get way more active and stop hiding in the shadows. My cr-z adventures are a bit interesting. Last year I purchased the CR-Z in CVT with little knowledge or care for cars. Eventually i became obsessed with cars and knew it wasn't just a phase. So naturally after gaining this obsession, i wanted a car with a manual transmission! So about a month ago i traded my 2012 CBP CR-Z EX with Nav CVT for a PWP Base CR-Z 6MT and i couldn't be happier!! Now that my whole life revolves around this car, i want to be much more involved in the community. Hopefully teens arent frowned upon because im only 17. But before you say im spoiled with this brand new car, i work at a Honda Dealer as an Administrator and I'm paying for my car with no assistance from my parents. So ya i hope to be attending meets and making friends with some people on this board!

Like you, I wasn't much into cars either until I got this one. Glad I got a 6MT from the beginning though lol. Welcome!

Yes that would have saved many headaches and about $2k haha, smart choice!

Congrats on your SECOND CR-Z!
Glad you found the one that stirs your inner gear-head.

I guess a welcome is about a year overdue, so lets just say we're looking forward to hearing lots more from you.
Although I'm several times your age, like for you, this is the first car that really captured my imagination.
