Previously owned 2005 Corolla XRS and tuned with Hydra ems myself. Then to a 2004 Honda S2000, then to 96 Integra with JDM front and I built and tuned a B20 Vtec, then to a 2005 Lexus IS300. Now going to CRZ tomorrow. Good to be a member and start checking out the forums. |

Welcome!
Edmunds has the 2012 CR-Z EX 6M at invoice of $21,033 incl destination, so dealer offer is OK (but not great?) deal. Maybe get them to throw in some accessories like all-weather mats, cargo floor cover, etc?

Welcome to the forum. How'd the shopping trip go?
Looking forward to what you have in store for this car. You might think you ain't gonna mod this one, but I'll bet you start teaching us a thing or two, within a few months of owning this car. Either way, modified or stock, the CR-Z is bound to put a smile on your face. Every time you see it in the driveway, start it up, or drive past a gas station! Good luck on your dealing.

Well I officially own the car. Had the dealer remove their rear badge, and already took off the front plate holder (no front plate here in KY). I was able to get all season mats and cargo tray.
I am not sure how far the modding will go, will probably depend on A) Job situation (long story), and B) How much of an itch I get and what money allows from the job situation. Either way, I plan to sell my old subwoofer setup and axle back exhaust from the Lexus, and put that money towards window tinting and an intake, you know because it helps fuel economy and helps pay for itself. haha Look forward to reading DIY's and start doing small tasteful cheap mods. I am sure by this time next year assuming money allows, that there might be wheels and lowered. Just have to wait and see! |

So far I am loving the car. It sure does have its differences driving and cruising, compared to cars with more power and no hybrid. Really need my windows tinted. Thinking 20% all around and an inch past the marker line on the front windshield.
