Hi to all the newbies like me, greetings from Denmark! I look forward to seeing what this forum has to offer (and so far it seems nothing but goodies ^_^)

Earlier today, my significant other and I signed the papers on a great deal for a white CR-Z which means I finally get my Japanese street-racing-lookalike, yay! I have to wait approximately a month for it but thats is fine; I've heard of people who have to wait till November

I really want to give it an anime makeover (no comments, please, tastes differ ) but so far I've been told by my co-owner that that's a no-no(pah). I haven't given up yet, though, and if I ever get it approved, you can expect a cartload of pics

So yeah, I hope to get a lot of great info about the CR-Z; mods and kits for it and not least cool videos of this little tidbit.

Default Hi There!!

Hi everyone!

I`m Carl from England, UK, and previously owned a 1992 celestial blue CRX Vtec.

I`ve been waiting for the CR-Z to be released for ages and am nearing the point of ordering one, but I may have to sell my house and move in with my girlfriend so that I can afford one lol!!

Would be great if Honda made a non hybrid version with say a civic typeR engine in it. But I guess that defeats the whole object of the car?

You never know what the future may bring!!

I'm AlexH from central Connecticut. I've owned Hondas since 1984, including an early Civic Hatchback Si and a recent 2003 Si. At the moment, three Civics - daily driver is '08 EX 5-speed. The first generation CRZ may not please everyone (like the Apple iPad), but it is unique. I think that most reviews have missed Honda's intent.

Wink New member looking for advice

Hi,
We are thinking about a CR-Z GT. We borrowed a Sport for a couple of hours today and really enjoyed it. I was a little worried to read of MPGs of 37. The car that we borrowed had done 1000 miles and I am sure that we were averageing mid forties despite the fact that we were not messing about with it.

I was also puzzled by the people who said the performance was poor. We had a CRX back in the day and this car was fairly quick in normal mode and as quick as the CRX in sport mode.

We went down a country lane that I know where there are two 90 degree bends left and right straight after each other. The car went round both on rails (no further details) without complaining.

Am I kidding myself or is this car better than the reviews that it has had?

welcome... not sure what "advice" you're looking for... but according to real-world and non-biased reviews, the CR-Z seems to be a great car... sounds like a typical Honda to me... "Under-promising and Over-delivering"

Default Honda CRZ Forum : Welcome! Introduce yourself!

I have also alot of friends that say that it is a slow car but that the only say it because its a hybrid.

Its alot more fun to drive then a Civic 1.8!

Go for it

Hi,

I`m Gordon, a newbie from England.

I picked up my new Honda CR-Z last week and found this forum earlier today. While I've not had a lot of chance to drive my new car yet, it is a lot of fun driving down country roads in sport mode. Sure it's not as much fun as my previous car, a Mazda MX-5, but I knew that when I ordered it.

Hi, I've been eagerly anticipating the CRZ release for quite some time and have been lurking on the forum for a few months. Then several weeks ago my 2001 Insight battery konked at 175,000 miles. Now I will probably be one of the first to get a CRZ from my local dealership in Virginia, USA.
