I just joined, motivated by the two CR-Z's I saw on the road this afternoon: a white one & red one with mfgr's plates, driving North up 101 past SFO.
I saw a prototype at the Paris Auto Show and was intrigued, maybe a replacement for my 5 speed Insight.
As I was coming up from behind, it looked like a customized Insight, but I never saw a white Insight, so as I got closer it became obvious what it was. They did not acknowledge me becasue I was driving my MCoupe today, but they looked very nice. The naysayers will have to see them in person before they can make valid complaints about the styling.

Only problem is getting the carpool lane stickers that I have now: California is not issuing any more.

Newbie here, klm. An old fart living in England (50-something). Trading in my lovely UK Civic for the CRZ. Hope I won't regret it, as the Civic here is a great car and much sexier than the US version. Pick mine up on June 18th with any luck. White Sport with the fancy alloys.

Im new but already posted before i introduced myself, so allow myself to introduce........my....self............

Im 38 currently driving an 04 GTi. not happy in it though it is a quick car but heavier then id like, not that the cr-z is much lighter but it is 1k lighter. Had a 91 crx hf DOHC ZC swap into with plenty of other toys to go with it. LOVE and miss her very much. So now i am very much thinking of the cr-z and it better be wirth the wait. My only thing is can i mod it to get more out of it? dont know how this hybrid stuff works with modding.

My last Honda was a new 1985 CRX so you can run the numbers on how long I have waited for a replacement. While waiting I have owned a long, and distinguished line of VW GTIs, GLIs, and my current `08 R32. I admit that driving VW's for all these years has become instinctual but it is time to break out and drive a less serious car with big potential for fun - like my long-lost CRX. I will wait for a test drive and if the magic is still there - when the R's lease is up the only question will be color for a 2011 EX 6m. I figure a 4 month delay on orders due to demand.
