Hey Kenosh, is that from Discount Tire direct? If so, that's a great day, go for it but make sure you get the TPMS re-build kit to be on the safe side. That style you've chosen is really nice, I like those too. You've got that black and white theme down now, just a little suggestion when you get the wheels, have a custom H centercap decal done for the wheels, adds a nice touch. I'm going to have Extreme Graffics do a custom H for mine and then have em' dome it in acrylic.

Hotboxn, your right about looking out when your out and about driving, I'm from Detroit originally and Chicago roads are exactly the same, just gotta know where you going at all times I bet! I like how you've got an inch limit with the snow, better hope their predictions are right, LOL! If I ever lower my car it will be with Swift sport springs, 1.5"/1.0" is about all I need really, it will lower the car enough to look good and make a difference and lower the center of gravity enough to help out on the Dragon.

As far as our spring meet goes, well, it looks like the one in Orlando last weekend has about 12-13 cars, not sure if we'll match that but it will be good none the less. I'm sure we'll be getting together for the iLL Garage open house as well as when Fizz has their shows too, that will be easy to plan for sure, just gotta show up somewhere before hand and roll into together.

BTW I've got the K&N typhoon on its way, so I'll be making noise from the front as well as the back and making more hp/torque too. I expect to see a slight gain in mpg's too, has anyone else noticed a gain in mpg's when they did their intake or am I the only "car dork" that checks their mileage using the calculator instead of the OBC?

That's cool, you can just sell the centercaps on Ebay, they'll sell right away. The rebuild kit for the TPMS is only $20.00, its piece of mind IMO When are you getting your wheel/tire package? I'm going to wait till May to get mine, I'd like to sell my stockers around the same time I get the new shoes, pays for about 1/3-1/4 of the total price but then again I'm using my Discount Tire card where I get interest free financing for 9 monthes.

Default ONR update

Its true that I've got ALOT of Zaino on my car and our winter has been rather mild compared to the last 2 winters, but we've had our share of 6" storms (2) and they used alot of salt there, not to mention the "death storms" of 1, 2 and 3" we've had too, even when there's a dusting, they salt and the reason I bring all this up is this, as of today, February 16th, the paint's finish has NO grit to the touch of my finger tips and I all I can think is this, the use of Zaino is so slick that nothing can stick to it, combined with regular washes and recent hand washes with ONR. I've always kept my cars clean over the years but come spring, there's usually something on the paint from the winter blast but not now

MY last coat of Zaino Z-CS was on January 9th and before that was "black Friday", I live in an apartment and don't have access to a heated garage (if I did my surface protection count would be around 50 right now, seriously!)

In other news, my K&N typhoon came in today over at my buddy Hectour's house, he's the one installing it so it went there. I told him to wait till its a bit warmer outside but knowing him, he'll install it the following weekend. I'm looking forward to getting this put on, then the car will sound good from the front, as well as the rear! I'm also considering getting racing stripes put on the car too, saw the sign at the Chicago auto show where they had this customize your CR-Z station and the ad sign showed a white CR-Z w/ red stripes, so it got me to thinking. If I do infact do this, the stripes will be a metallic charcoal gray to closely match the color of my wheels. Speaking of that, I've got a guy in MO that's willing to meet me in Springfield to pick up my wheels, so things are working out pretty well

New guy from Missouri, you might of saw my new intro thread. I drove from STL to wisconsin to pick my car up. I'm sure a few of you guys might be familiar with Zimbrick Honda up in madison, wi. Great dealership and hooked me up with a good deal on the car.

Anyways just thought I'd poke around this thread seeing theres not much activity in Missouri. Anyone rear MO in here by chance?

loud. haha I'm getting a vibrant resonator for it. the exhaust started as a p2r midpipe and universal muffler. midpipe fit like **** so my buddy cut and welded it all. he can also make you a rollcage if you want Justin. I asked and he said around $700 installed. it would be welded in too not bolt it.
