Thumbs up Buddyclub Short Shifter Quick Review

Just installed the Buddyclub Short Shifter this weekend and thought I'd share some quick impressions.

Install: Pretty straight forward. Should take no more than an hr (only about 6 screws, everything else snaps off). Only minor gripe was the bushing at the end of the shifter didn't really fit in the cable and I had to grind it a bit to fit the cable w/ a dremel. After this it should go in no problems. I used a pipe wrench to turn the left cable for easier removal. A small prybar helps removing the metal collar to release the shifter cable on the right.

Performance: Its firmer and the action is alot shorter. Its almost like a switch now. Shifts can be performed at the flick of the wrist. For the price I paid for it locally in OC, its a worthwhile upgrade to enhance the 'driving experience'.
