Default New Amplifier, Chirping Sound - Weak Stock Battery?

I have my new audio build all wired up, but the audio drops out if I connect the inputs for more than 2 speakers. It does this chirping thing where you only get a split second of audio every 3 or so seconds. Dropping down to 2 speakers makes it work fine. I actually tried an old amp as well, and got similar results.

I'm running a 700w RMS 5-channel Rockford Fosgate amp that is properly grounded and using thick enough wires. I only ask if this may be a battery issue as I read in another thread that the builder had replaced his 12v with a new one. I also read that these are not standard auto 12v batteries, but rather something like a deep-cycle marine battery.

Any input on any of this is appreciated.

sounds like something is shorting out, or the impedance is too low for the amp. what amp is it and what are you hooking up to it?

Once I had time to do a legit amount of wire shuffling, I discovered that sending a signal to the rear-right speaker was causing a protection fault in the amp. So, that's that.

Any info on the battery, though?

I'm pushing a 500 watt amp right now with no problems what so ever so I doubt it's the battery. Are you sure your speaker wiring is correct? I've never heard this of this kind of problem before. Can you post a sound clip?

It's gotta be the wiring. I'll see if I can take a crack at it this weekend.

What are you grounding the amp to? Are you running the amp to the OEM speakers or aftermarket ones?
