Thanks. I was going for lots of sound from a small setup. The amp never gets too hot to touch. The only problem I've had with that location is that the seat loses about two slots of slide space going back, but that has yet to be a real issue.

I was talking to a crutchfield rep and he was telling me that the Rockford amp can even be placed in the tightest space including in a box, or even in a glove box. Does anyone know if it is true.

This is true. I've seen a couple installed behind the dash and also in a 350z glovebox.

There is a good spot in trunk under the carpet between the back wall and the batteries. That is where I had mine originally. I just ran my 12v cable under the car hidden under the belly pans to the the drain plugs right there.

For the price it can't be beat in my experience. And I've had Rockford fosgate, alpine, and JL products.

It's nice. I've pulled it out for a little while and put the JL 8" back. Started to feel like it was taking up too much space vs how much I actually turned it up really loud. It's usually only in the car on the weekends now for tailgating.

It's pretty much on the side for sale but not in a rush to get rid of it because I do like to throw it in there when I want the wall shaking bass.

Sold the RE Annnnd I did it again... Latest box right here. Shallow mount MTX 10". Box sits underneath the roll out trunk cover and forward about an inch and a half. Fits between the hooks that the back bench latches onto and then comes out to fit nearly flush with the sides of the trunk. .7 cubic feet sealed and actually carpeted this time.

Sub comes in tomorrow morning. Getting one of the new pioneer head units sometime next week. Hopefully this does it I'm fairly proud of how good this one came out compared to the others though
