![]() I would suggest checking your connections again where you spliced them in and make sure they haven't pulled loose or something. If they are touching at all, they can cause the car to act crazy.

I soldered mine for a secure connection. It didn't seem to help.
The closest thing that I found to a work around is to use them for brake lights only. If I use them to come on with the headlights in the "running lights" mode, I start having issues...mainly VSA and cruise control. I've had them hooked up for brake lights only for a few weeks now with no issues so far. For some reason the VSA doesn't seem to mind that. Maybe it's an intermittent circuit, maybe because the IMA goes to the charging mode when the brake is applied and there is plenty of voltage available. I have a little concern for possible VSA failure during braking. I really don't want any systems to fail during critical maneuvers. I considered taking the whole thing apart and rewiring it with a heavier wire to match the rest of the system. That would be the last piece of the puzzle in my testing and the results would tell me which way I would place blame. So far, I haven't found the time or incentive to take on that task. If anyone else wants to try it, please post results. And I have considered disconnecting all of it and let 'em ride as reflectors. Reflectors are better than nothing. It also comes with the benefit of knowing if something strange is happening to the car, it's the car's fault. |

I just purchased the red reflector version for my NSBP car. Bought some telephone wire taps at Radio Shack that worked well. Downloaded the installation instructions from iJDMTOY:
RED Reflector: BLACK Wire - Negative WHITE Wire - Running Light RED Wire - Bright Mode Vehicle: Black Wire = Negative Red Wire = Positive (Bright Mode) Green Wire = Positive (Dim Mode) Went out for a test drive and found that every time I turned on the headlights, the cruise control kicked off!! Traced the problem to the fact that on my car, the red wire with black stripe was the tail lights, and the green wire with white stripe was the brake light. Just the opposite of the instructions. Once I reversed the connections, everything works OK! Really looks good! |

We'll take a look at the wiring again and revise this. Thanks for letting us know!
