Will i be able to HOV lane solo with the cr-z like the insight and prius can?

I thought all hybrids could. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Check your local laws via google search. For instance, it's not legal for solo hybrids to use the HOV lanes in North Carolina, US.

Beginning in January, hybrids will no longer be allowed solo in HOV in California, even if you have the sticker.

According to Florida DHSMW: An Inherently Low Emissions Vehicle (ILEV) or a Hybrid vehicle certified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency may be driven in a High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane at any time regardless of its occupancy as long as a decal is obtained.

The CR-Z isn't on the list as of yet, but I'm sure it will be soon.

I thought there were no more decals available, or was that just California?

Nevermind found it. Extended in California until 2015 as of Aug 30, 2010
But applications don't start until January 1, 2012 for the first 40,000 applicants.
Current registration form only allows for replacements until then for Hybrids.

In the US state of Georgia, you won't be able to use the HOV as an AFV anytime soon. Hybrids have yet to be approved.

"Currently, hybrid vehicles are not eligible for the Georgia Alternate Fuel License Plates. Therefore, single-occupant hybrid vehicles cannot use the HOV lanes - the same prohibition as for conventional-powered vehicles."
