2011 Insights going to be be cheaper - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

Honda is positioning the Insight as the entry level option for Hybrid customers. As there are more and more being produced, and the technology is becoming cheaper, the 2011 Insights will be at a lower pricepoint than 2010s. However the incentives for 2010 are smoking hot, and if one's looking for a cheap way to go from A to B - the Insight may be a good choice.

can you provide more info on the price drop or these incentives??

My girlfriend want's an Insight...My guess is that around this time next year...the Incentives on a 2011 (new lower price Insight) will be an even better deal

I like the car...I hope a lower price helps it out.

a slightly lower price would absolutely allow the Insight to destroy the market with Hybrid sales... just think if it started at $18,900 instead of $19,800... when buying a car most ppl will either say "it starts just under $20k" or they will say "it's like $19-something"... but imagine them saying "it starts under $19k" or "it starts at $18-something" how much more impressive will that 'sound' to most people...

Well...that's debatable...it's much cheaper to get into...but the Prius is more of a luxury hybrid.

The Insight exterior is just a tad more attractive in my opinion. The Prius interior looks like a mini van interior to me...the insight interior is just a mess.

CR-Z is actually the first Honda interior that I've liked in years.

if you want a luxury Hybrid, go get a Lexus HS or any of the other Hybrids they offer... Prius is more upscale, but not luxury...

Prius and luxury in the same sentence should be outlawed! The Prius is a nice car don't get me wrong, but it just is not luxury. That is why Toyota has the Lexus division. Lexus is Toyota's luxury cars.

I sat in the Insight for a few seconds (and the fit), couldn't get my legs in there, sooo short. I Was surprised that the CRZ had way more leg room for my long legs.
