Yip far less valuable to leave in car I have an ipod but would rather leave a USB stick always plugged in than continually unplug my ipod. Control is better via ipod though but nothing major. OP the other option is to rip 10 cds to mp3 and make up a disc as the Z will play them no problem. If you stil want to use CD then in my last car which had no USB stick I used a ten disc CD wallet.

I know that a USB stick holds a lot of music, but for serious listening I prefer CD quality, ergo I asked where you guys keep then in your Zeds.
Very amused by the joke replies though. Ho ho.

I'm talking musical instruments and actual singing. Not (c)rap, or electronic which sounds like someone trying to bust their way out of a built in wardrobe.

Some material is more "challenging" to encode, but I can't really tell any difference in my front room, let alone in an odd-shaped steel and glass box with various built-in noise generators - even with a "premium" sound system.
