Palm Pre.. wow, blast from the past, I had a Palm Pre 650 about 6 years ago...
I don't want to get into a mobile war here, but Blackberry's on a pretty steep downward trajectory, so unless you're limited to options presented by your work, I'd look elsewhere if I were you. |

My Palm Pre worked fine with Honda Bluetooth. I have since switched to the dark side with iPhone 4s. In fact, I had a Palm Pre, Sprint FrankenPre, and the 4g Pre3 all working fine on Honda Bluetooth.
If you want to upgrade your phone, fine. Don't blame it on the Pre. |

If you want, start a new thread in the interior and ice discussion named something like Handsfree/Bluetooth Compatability List with the Handsfree link you just provided and I will sticky it. |

Also, if you enjoy webOS and unfamiliar with the Blackberry OS, check it out before you jump. It's absolutely no comparison. Both have goods and bads, but they are incredibly different. Android or Apple would be a much easier transition.
If you know what you're getting into, disregard this post. |

honda bluetooth sucks regardless of your phone. It does not do A2DP, meaning it is only capable of being used for voice telephone calls. If you want to stream music you'll need to go aftermarket.
An iphone is capable of connecting to the stock deck through USB and transmitting pandora and allowing the buttons to control it. An android phone can connect to the stock deck via usb in disk mode and it basically acts like a flash drive. You can plug into the AUX port and play pandora etc that way but no button control. In order to get full audio/control integration between an android or blackberry phone and a car stereo the deck needs to support the A2DP, SPP, and AVRCP bluetooth profiles. |
