Here, Here YLA!

I have the side mirrors angled so that I can see cars & more especially motorbikes ( I also ride a Ducati ) that are coming up behind my CR-Z....you cannot rely on the view you get from the inside rearview mirror!!!
That is the reason I think the car should have a 'blindspot mirror on the drivers' side...purely a lot safer!

thats what I said also.. the backview is really bad, so you can only use the side mirrors but you want to see your "backwheels" a bit just for that reason.

Default Blindspot

After test driving the car yesterday I noticed a huge blind spot. Anyone make the blue convex mirrors for the door mirrors yet?

In Canada we have a standard drivers side mirror and a full size convex on the other. you cannot approach an intersection at a 45 degree angle and do a look over your shoulder and see anything. you really have to adapt to the huge blind spots or something bad is going to happen.

Default Blindspot

After a mail to the goverment here in my country, they mailed directly to the Honda factory here.
I got a response of them that the blind spot is the biggest at the passenger side, so that's why they mounted it that way.

The also noticed that drivers who wanted a blind spot mirrors on both sides they could order it.

Hi YLA,

Are you sure that Honda Europe are allowing owners to order a blindspot mirror for the drivers' mirror?
I was told by my dealer, via Honda UK, that under no circumstances would they even order the part, because the angle of that mirror is designed to work when seated in the other side of the car! eg you can't fit the Lefthand drive passenger mirror into a Righthand drive car....it won't give the correct angle view!

Yep, they told me so from Honda Europe HQ based in Belgium in the city Aalst.

And personally about those left or right hand angle I would say bullocks. Test it from your passenger seat and rotate them like you are the driver.
