I find the best way to set your mirrors is to pull up to a parked car on the passenger side (us models) so its in plane view through the passenger window and slowly pull forward until that car is out of your natural view when glancing to your right and stop. That spot is your blind spot. set your mirror so that car is in view. you should not be able to see your car in the mirror. Once you know you have your blind spots covered you can change lanes with confidence after consulting your mirrors. Check them often as they do get bumped or handled when parked in public. Most people seem to have there mirrors set to look more in back of the car than to the side blind spot, why I dont know, the rear view mirror handles that well enough there's no need for redundancy there.

What also works is rest the left side of your head aginst the left door glass and adjust the left mirror to see correctly. Then lean your head to the right about the same angle and then adjust your right mirror accordingly USA only.

To see out of that little right side triangle window incline your passenger seat back.
The upright Pass. seat headrest blocks the view out of that window.

I/ 5' 8" (172cm) in shoes. Would be different if you are shorter or taller.

Also rotating your inside mirror 180 degrees raises the mirror ~ 1 1/2". Due to the pivot point NOT being 1/2 way up the mirror but ~1/2" above it.
Just turn the mirror upside down, you do NOT have to remove it.
I also use cover mirrors in and out. Works.

I heard a review that the CRZ had terrible blind spots. I just traded in a 2007 350Z. When I looked over my shoulder I could see just fine. I have absolutely no problem with blind spots like I did in the 350Z.

I almost took a motorcyclist out last week...which kinda sucks cause I myself own a motorcycle.

The thing is I do check my blind spots with every lane change....be predictable people. I realize there's an urge to give your motorcycle a handful of throttle, but if you're where I didn't see you a second ago, I might end up in your path!

i had to go get blind spot mirrors. It's those little circle mirrors you put on your side mirrors. It helps out a lot. I dont even have to look over my shoulders to see any blind spots.

i just have my passenger mirror set up in a way that I can see the blind spot perfectly. (with convex mirror)

and for the driver side i put my face near the steering wheel and look backwards out that window.
