Does this tell us something about the silver car drivers?
1/4 silver are 6MT while the other colours 1/4 are CVT.

Actually I don't think it tells us much about the drivers or owners of the silver cars. What it does reflect is that Honda is primarily bringing manual transmission CRZs to the US in black with only a very few manual cars comimg to the US in silver.

The most common car that Honda is bringing to the US is a silver EX CVT and the least common is a Silver base 6MT

We have just hit the magic 100 actual owners on our message board

At this momentous milestone we have:

36 CVTs
64 6MTs

14 Storm Silver
5 Milano Red
18 North Shore Blue/ Horizon Turquoise
41 Premium White
21 Crystal Black
1 Dark Pewter Metalic

compared to the population when we hit 50 owners, the color choices have remained about the same, but the CVTs are gaining popularity compared to the 6MTs and were almost equal in choice over the past 50 entries.

Please note a few members voted for a color different from what they own.

Adjustments were made to the totals, but the names could not be removed from the color/transmission

The adjustments that have been made are:

Subtracted 1 from red CVT total for goHuskies who actually bought White CVT
Subtacted 1 from Silver 6MT total for VTEC MINI who hasn't yet purchased his CRZ
Subtracted 1 from Black CVT total for john r who actually bought a White CVT

added 2 to white CVT for GoHuskies and John r

Interesting poll....I do think that there may be an underestimation of the % of CVTs sold though ...my reasoning - only a small % of car owners tend to join a forum - mainly car enthusiasts/nuts (like myself)....I would suggest that car enthusiasts are more likely to buy a manual transmission than the average consumer is...

I am pleased be the 121rst person to add myself to this list of owners for today.
I just signed and paid for the North Shore Blue Pearl 6 speed that I ordered back in June.
Now I have to wait another week while it gets shipped from Oahu to Maui.
