Default Tires Issues?

So I don't remember when this happened, but my TPI came on and I took the car in to see what was up. Turned out that one of my tires had a small hole on the inside-facing sidewall. Crazy, right? So, still haven't gotten that fixed because it's a slow leak and figure I'll wait until it blows before getting a new one. Ha-ha. Anywho, now it seems like the other three tires lose their pressure periodically, which is becoming a pain in my pressure gauge. Has anyone else had issues like this with their original tires?

Wait until it blows.. ?? Not a good idea.. At least go get it plugged..

As for the other tires, what pressure are you keeping them at??

I have to agree with Scotty, get that tire repaired.

The TPI comes on every time there is a drastic drop in temperature here.

Just kidding about letting it blow out. My husband keeps the pressure at whatever is recommended in the book. I think it's 30 PSI (from what I remember). I'm hoping that something isn't wrong with the tires.

I don't think it's price unless they get discount prices on them. Those OEM tires are more expensive than a much better 205/50-r16 continental extremecontact DW..

I looked at a 12 yesterday and it had Michelins on it. I look at my tires everyday and can't tell you what the brand is. Dunlop?

If there is a hole in the sidewall, the tire needs to be replaced instead of repaired. Most places will not patch a tire if the damage is done to the sidewall.
