If you are considering buying one of these babies, ignore the reviews and make your decision based on the people posting in here. |

I picked up my crz in Portland Or. and the first time I drove it was back to Phoenix. What a great ride. I find the eco mode very boring and I'd give up the extra mileage for the fun of normal and sport. Handled very well through the mountains and I thought it maneuvered around the other cars very well. I love it but the doors are heavy

I FINALLY GOT THIS CAR!! honda australia has finally released this nice car in our country and i finally got this baby.
I just got to say to all those bad reviews and comments out there that this car OWNED!! who ever said that this car is slow? well to be honest i was abit worried before i purchased this car but now i really do not regret anything at all. I gotta say this car is pretty zippy in sport mode, and its a very smooth car. |

Test drove a Black CVT Ex today and was overall impressed. It had much more power than I was expecting. I started in Eco mode for a while to test the gas millage and was expecting it to drag, but it had more spunk than a Prius. Once I switched to Sports mode I was surprised by the louder roar and getting pulled back into my seat
. Handling is extremely responsive, perhaps too responsive?. My biggest issue is the blind spot but the mirrors are pretty big. I was able to get 38 - 43 avg gas millage which isn't too bad for being around 25 degrees. We really tried hard and got 56mgp for a while. Stereo with sub sounded great. Probably going to put in an order for a 6 speed manual Black on Black with Navi and pick it up April/May.Dislikes: Blind Spot, No back seat, No Sunroof, all the cool accessories they get in Europe that we don't get, and driving home in a 1st gen Insight getting 75 mpg with ease. |

I drive mine in sport mode 90% of the time. All is very good. But, don't like the way the rpm's hang during shifting. You have to let off gas, wait a second then push in clutch to shift. It slows speed shifts. At first test drive I kept reving to much during shifts until I started waiting for the revs to come down. Anyone experience this also? Wish I could fine tune computer.

Traded in an 2006 Mercedes SLK55 AMG for a blue Ex Nav 6-speed. Yup, you could buy 3 CR-Z's for the price of my SLK55. Drive 100 miles/day commute and thought it was time for some mileage adjustmnet into something more sensible but still a good 'driver's car'. Am not 1 little bit disapointed with the CRZ. Did immediately swap out the wheels and tires with ASA AR1 wheels and HanKook Venti 20545/ZR17 tires. Looks better and drives better than the stock 16" setup.
Have to hand it to Honda, one nice little commuter car! |

Yesterday I traded in a fairly new GTI for a 6MT EX/nav. I don't think I'll write my impressions in a GTI forum.
The Z felt like half the weight of the GTI. I was surprised by the throttle response at low revs, reaction to steering input and the balance in curves. I mean I started grinning like an idiot. Never felt like that in the GTI, even when blasting turbo to redline and paddling the DSG box. When not blasting, it was boring. The Z on the other hand, reminded me of a 96 Miata I had years ago: the ultimate fun machine. I really don't understand the mitigated press reviews. I find this an amazingly smart car, fun to drive while very economic, more comfortable than a GTI, more modern than a Miata. It looks gorgeous and is a very practical 2 seater. On pictures, I had my doubts about the dash design, but after a couple of hours behind the wheel, I really like the layout, the available info and the colors. The seats are very comfortable. If you insist, they tilt and slide forward for access to the rear storage area but then don't return to original position. Not so good. The stereo-nav is of reasonable quality though it seems a bit dated. XM should be part of the package though, it's pretty irritating that it is not. All in all, very happy I bit the bullet and swapped the GTI for this gem |
