![]() Honda Canada/USA 2011 CR-Z Sport Aero Package During the past few days at Yonge-Dundas Square (Toronto's pathetic attempt at New York's Times Square) Honda Canada had a white Standard CR-Z EX with Honda sport/aero package (no official name for this package yet). This CR-Z looked quite a bit sportier and more agressive than the automatic CVT CR-Z EX (without sport/aero package and with regular 16 inch rims) I test drove last week. Honda CR-Z EX in Toronto, Canada, eh! Very noticeable are the 17 inch rims. Non-staggard 17x7-inch 5 bi-spoke alloy wheels with 205/45R17 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires Rear deck spoiler painted to colour match the car. Rear diffuser (bottom part of rear bumper) Side skirt - spoiler - flare thingy ** Front lip spoiler - actually front chin guard spoiler thingy ** I really don't know what to call the last two,... since they're not full Side Skirt or complete Front Lip Spoiler in the traditional manner. The Rear diffuser, side skirt/spoiler/flare thingy and the front lip spoiler/chin guard are made of a flexible plastic with a matte carbon fiber design-look. According to the Honda Canada Product Consultant/rep all these items can be sold as a package or separately. They are mounted by the Honda dealer. |

Well,... if you live in a province or state or country that requires a front license plate,.... you'll probably be able to get a gominigo bracket to remount your license plate on the bumper instead of on the grille. See on the driver (right) side of the front bumper,... there`s a little circular cover that you can take off and insert an eye-bolt (see that large bolt with donut ring on top stored next to jack in spare tire storage area) used to tow the car out of a ditch and or shipping. gominigo can create a bolt for there and connect it to a front license plate bracket. gominigo currently does not have a license plate bracket for the Honda CR-Z yet,... but they will likely come out with one. gominigo.com regards, Raymond Jean |

Sorry, no idea on pricing for these accessories. 17 inch Rims are probably most expensive, followed by rear deck spoiler. Rear diffuser, side skirt/spoiler/flare thingy and the front lip spoiler/chin guard are just flexible plastic with carbon fiber pattern-look.
Forgive those blue stars on the CR-Z. They're fridge magnets from a charity that passerbys placed onto the CR-Z. |

About the licenseplate; I gone try it with a sticker under the light. Its quite legal here as they use it on porches, Ferrari and stuff.
Anyway your plate is white and blue; its kind of fits the car! (just lile the star )

I don't get it why this thread is in the news? There nothing different as the options before in Japan or in Europe. There is even a visitor who is riding with all these options.
Pricing would be around the same like in Europe.. so.. a lot ![]() example +/- 400$ for the tailgate spoiler +/- 700$ for the tailgate spoiler + front lip (fake) carbon |

More pics of rear diffuser. Sporty looking car,.. but no big shiny tip! Where is the muffler,... hiding! Oh, it is a hybrid,... so do not emphasis the exhaust!
Interestingly,... this standard CR-Z EX with sports-aero package has Ontario license plate "BKAD 802" wheras the CVT CR-Z EX I test drove last week had "BKAD 839". Does that means Honda Canada has at least 37 of these CR-Z EX running around in Ontario already??? Honda CR-Z EX in Toronto, Canada, eh! YLA,.... yes,... some of these Honda CR-Z accessories are available in Japan and Europe. But seeing them available on a Honda Canada CR-Z means they these particular accessories will also be available in Canada and likely USA. Some of the CR-Z accessories available in Japan might be a bit too "rice" for North American taste and will not make it here. Also, some parts like the Rear diffuser are different, in Japan it comes with 2 red reflectors in the side part of the read diffuser,.... in Canada (and likely USA) it will come with grey honeycomb pattern. |
