A CarFax should show it. The dealer's computer should show it.

Took car in to have auto headlights looked at (coming on in brilliant sunshine, reset & OK) also lights in bottom of the doors not working (no bulbs fitted!! )
Dealers did the recall also in about ten minutes. No problem with auto start the only thing we had to do was wait a couple of minutes for the satnav to reacquire.

Had the recall update on 14th November. Now the fuel range isn't recalculating, the auto/stop doesn't work at all, and I no longer get warnings about low temps/icy conditions! The dealer emails Honda UK Tech, they email back, dealer emails back.... I phoned Honda UK who gave me a reference no. and said I would be contacted with a Customer Care Response in 3 days. I wasn't. Anyone any suggestions what I do now?

Sorry to hear about your problems. The fuel range dissappeared completely but my wife, her car, scrolled thru the info a couple of times and it come back OK. Auto stop also no problems. We've not used the car in the cold so cannot comment at this stage; got to take it out early one morning. If it was me I'd just keep on at the dealer that did the software update but I expect you are doing that, especially if thats the dealer you bought the car from. Good luck I hope you get it sorted let us know how you get on eh?

Default Update probs are a part failure!

My probs appear now to have anything to do with the update...! (?) After much technical discussion with Honda Tech support, they have come to the conclusion that my thermometer has failed, which does make a sort of sense.... Now I just wait for the spare part to come in, and then all the softare will have to be uploaded again, so watch this space,

Default Thermostat fitted

Had the thermostat fitted last Monday - stop/start now working after engine has warmed up (takes a long time though - had no probs LAST year in all the cold and snowy weather....!) Fuel range still not recalculating properly and still no ice warning..... !!! Back to the dealership. I am so fed up I'm thinking of buying an audi.

Has anyone noticed any changes after the recall? I finally got mine done yesterday.
I noticed a few strange things.. First, the mechanic said it specifically has to do w/ fuel injector changes.. But that's not what I've heard here.
Then the other thing I noticed has to do w/ the battery charging. My car used to almost always 1 bar charge when cruising on the highway. (Like holding a steady 66mph, my car would 1 bar charge until almost full, then stop). Now, it never 1 bar charges! I've run out of juice (down to 3 bars) a couple of times in the past day of driving, and that usually never happens. The car seems to use the battery less in general now. Less assist, less charging.

No one else has mentioned the recall for our cars affecting the battery (that I've seen) but it is definitely the case for my car.

So... couple more things...
my receipt says:
Product Update: Software update to improve fuel injector and VTC timing PN:37820-r42-a59 Per Bulletin 11-049. Performed PGM-IMA update.

SO... WHAT THE BLEEP is going on w/ these updates? That's nothing to do w/ a safety concern, which is what I was originally led to believe.

It most definitely changed the IMA. I feel like I'm just driving a gas car now... a good deal of the instant electric torque is gone.

OK, well, the dealer says they just messed up the invoice.. That's a cr-V update.
they say the proper one was applied to my vehicle.
But, why hasn't anyone else noticed a change in the IMA behavior?

Little things.. Like, when I give it a quick blip of throttle, to spool up before down shifting or something, it used to give a few bars of assist.. just from a quick tap of the throttle. Now, that doesn't happen. I have to have the throttle down for a second before the IMA starts assisting. Plus the 1 bar charge stops at 6 bars now, instead of 7. Like I said in my first post, it just uses the battery less.
This is BS!!!!!!! I'd bet everything measures/tests the same, as far as HP and torque and all that, but the driveability has definitely changed.. the instant electric response is gone for sure..

Shot in the dark.. Did they actually mistakingly install the CR-V update? Invoice was right - install was wrong? Don't know if that is even possible, just a thought..
