Not overly serious it sounds like until the recall if you stall your car you should apply the brakes or take it out of gear until you get the gas motor cranked back over. Thanks for the post. I'm going in this next week for my first service I'll ask them about it as well I'm sure there is a TSB already.

@TCroly, I was thinking the same thing.
I found the thread:
Strange CR-Z Experience on way home from Dealer

Looks like the user only ever posted this, though, so he's probably not around to see the resolution. I think you are right about the symptom. Obvioulsy not an isolated incident, though, or it would never have made a recall.

I've PM'd the original poster (which will hopefully find it's way to his email inbox.)

Not good. My battery never goes under half but... I like the way it runs now and I dont like changes much. I dont like it driving the wrong way either tho. Would it then be spinning the gas motor backwards too? How is that possible?
It's just a software update so it shouldn't effect the way it is driving. Just how it handles those rare situation when you stall with low IMA battery level.

My car actually stalled when my battery was on 0 bar while I was at a light. Time to get a software update.
