Let's look at honda's track record. When have we ever gotten anything really good compared to the JDM version? When has Honda ever boosted a usdm vehicle? (and don't say rdx because that's Acura and only rich soccer moms buy that car). Oh wait.... A couple years ago we got a mugen civic which had a body-kit, wheels, shift knob, and .5" drop.....was that worth the extra $10,000 msrp we were charged? I'll be the first to admit im a Honda fanboy, and I work at a Honda dealership. So I see things from both sides. And Honda has simply fallen off. Again......I HIGHLY doubt usdm will get a boosted mugen crz

I saw the Mugen CRZ at Goodwood Festival of Speed at the weekend. It sounded superb as it raced up the Hill. The rear wing is a bit too 'bling' but for my taste, but there were plenty of people looking round the car in the paddock between runs. Honda also had a CRZ RR concept car on their main stand, very similar to the Mugen bodykit.
It was great to see the Mugen up close and hopefully with the interest they got, it might even go into production? |
