2013 Honda CR-Z now on USA's Honda site

So I got onto Honda Cars - New and Certified Used Cars from American Honda today to mess around looking at the CR-Z and dreaming I could get one.
Well today I found out they finally have the 2013 Honda CR-Z on there!
With my new favorite color Passion Berry Pearl!

Glad it's finally here, though it does look like the Mugen package option is absent for the moment. With the news of a supercharged Mugen option in the UK now, I'm hoping it'll make it to the States soon as well.

Wow. I'm a little pissed now seeing all the stuff even the base model comes with.... Oh well I guess. Just what happens.

Awesome. I hope that the diffuser isn't expensive, because I have to add up the cost of getting one painted Storm Silver Metallic.

There are a few things that jumped out at me:
  1. Price of the EX stayed the same at $21,555.
  2. Without the Navigation option, the rear-view camera is in the mirror.
  3. Spare tire has been replaced with tire repair kit.

WTF... Take a look at the MPG!!

CVT (City/Highway/Combined): 31/38/34
6-Speed Manual (City/Highway/Combined): 36/39/37

Compare to 2012:

CVT (City/Highway/Combined): 35/39/37
6-Speed Manual (City/Highway/Combined): 31/37/34

Maybe somebody screwed up and got the CVT/Manual numbers mixed up?

I am sure the CR-Z Forum here had maybe a little to do with some of the changes to the 13..
This being the largest CR-Z community by far. Corporate was/is probably paying some attention to it.. Lurking or whatever.. How much? Dunno..

So its, in part, your fault.. :box:

Lol had I waited (which I couldn't) I would have ended up in an FRS more than likely. Oh well. I'll just wait for Item9 to retrofit all the new stuff.

I am sure the tire repair kit is for sh*ts and giggles.
I mean really, how many people are going to patch ones own tire in the dead of winter on a dark deserted stretch of road.
Hey Honda, It is always much easier to pull off the blown out tire and put a spare on.

Pretty sure the tire repair kit is an expensive can of fix a flat.
