fix-a-flat RUINS tpms sensors. lol. Another way for Honda to sell more $$$ tpms's and charge the reset for learning new ones. Now i see reason they did the change here. More service shop revenue

Yea, didn't do an extensive search. But is probably this..

https://fit-ev.owners.honda.com/ModelInfo/TireRepairKit

Has some advantages I guess. Probably has been some research and Honda determined that most flats will be able to use this product and for those more extensive issues, one can use the usual complimentary road side assistance either from Honda (which is advertised as "Tire Repair Kit (TRK) with 24-Hour Assistance) or what most have on their insurance.. I think if my wife had a flat, I would rather her use this product and/or wait securely in the car for some road side assistance.. Negatives and positives here.. I'm looking at it as mostly positive..

Edit and Bheinen.. Always the negative waves, man.. LOL..

You have this Kit? https://fit-ev.owners.honda.com/ModelInfo/TireRepairKit provided by Honda? Or a do you have a can purchased from an autoparts store?

Normal off the shelf fix-a-flat can definitely be messy and can frack with TPMS/valves, different brands, different results of course. But destroy your tire? In most cases if the puncture is small enough that a fix-a-flat product will work, it will not destroy the tire if following instructions to include go directly to get the tire properly repaired. It of course is not a permanent fix.

A dealer is not normally the best source of information..

Do you think Honda dropped the ball on TV ads for the CR-Z?
They are non-existent on ads for the car on my TV area.

Anyone else see any ads for the car?
It's..........almost as if Honda does not want these to be sold in US.......almost.

Over here (UK) it comes with a can of gloop as standard, spare tyre is a cost option.
A lot of tyre-repair places say they can't repair after using this stuff, citing carcinogens and various other reasons, but from what I read it just makes a mess and they can't be bothered dealing with it.
