Every year, Honda brings members of the media in from all over the world, to Japan for the annual Honda Meeting. The press get a sneak peek at the latest and greatest innovations developed by Honda. At this years event the automaker showed off two Super-GT racecars, one of which is a CR-Z.

While the CR-Z that is raced by Mugen in collaboration with Honda is indeed a hybrid, it does not use the standard car's engine. This uses a 2.7 liter, twin-turbo V6 that makes an epic sound. It can even be heard over the thunderous V8 from the second racecar in the video.

i like how they showed off the hybrid part of it when it was rollin away just being powered by the battery alone cuz it was as quiet as a prius

I would kill for a car from honda resembling that blue one they got. So gorgeous.

Honda builds incredible engines. Always have.

So, I take it the 3.4 liter v8 is basically 2 B17's spliced together sort of lol.
