Honda and Mugen already unveiled a version of the [URL="http://www.autoguide.com/new-cars/2012/honda/cr-z/index.html"]CR-Z[/URL
that is JDM only. Now, the UK branch of Honda has confirmed that a Mugen-supercharged CR-Z is coming to the island-nation.
The tuned version for the UK market will not be identical to the JDM model that is being limited to 300 cars, all of which are painted blue. This version is being developed by Mugen Euro ( a separate branch of the Japanese tuner.)
While no performance or fuel economy specs have as yet been announced, the Japanese model, in the above photo may provide some "insight". It produces 156 hp and 136 lbs/torque from its supercharged hybrid drivetrain. It also features upgraded suspension and quite the body-kit.
Auto Express are predicting the UK model to do the dash to 60 in about 8 seconds. They took a prototype with over 200hp around a track last year and it could get to 60 in 6.5 seconds, which is on par with a VW GTI.
